Announcement Soon

Mario's Italian Subs

Excellent announcement regarding Mario's Italian Subs, soon! On an entirely different note, ever dealt with the U.S. Trademark/Patent office? Avoid it, if you can. Actually, the government's trademark attorneys aren't bad at all -- as helpful as they can be. It is just dealing with all the legalese and endless forms involved in getting a trademark registered and getting that nice little ®!

Raimi, about as often as I can post. Usually every few days right now. Hopefully I will post more often and be able to give you a better answer sometime soon.

Thanks for coming by, though.

Good to see O'Rielly posting all the way from the Middle East. At least that proves that at least ONE person on the Internet knows how to use my comment feature! You can check out his personal website at http://www.orielly.us/ and let him know how great he is for fighting for our country in Iraq.

Another interesting update on the Starbucks-Alochol fun. The most recent beverage addition to the Starbucks' menu offering are, yep, "Shaken Ice Teas." They actually put ice, tea, and like passion flavor into a martini shaker and shake it up for you. There's really no point to this procedure for tea; the idea is to get employees used to using the custom-made plastic shakers and their new measuring technique for the upcoming introduction of alcoholic beverages. "Starbucks(tm) -- It is time to get friggin' smashed!"

A quick side note... I will post an actual update when I do hear back from the U.S. Trademark Office, perhaps detailing the actual steps to register your own trademark without hiring a lawyer. I suppose it depends how successful I am at getting it done first, right?

As if people didn't spend enough time in Starbucks as it is, now we can all go there after hours as well!

Oh yah the trademark stuff is valuable information as well...

Perhaps by the time I am home I'll be able to order a Khalua Caramel Machiato...

Not to mention it costs over $300 or so to get a logo or typed title trademarked. It can get really expensive. I think Starbucks has around 50+ trademarks active right now.

Speaking of Starbucks, have you heard they are testing a new program to serve ALCOHOL at Starbucks?! That's right, they are currently trying it out in 3-4 locations; to see what happens.

This new alcohol program is reflected in Starbuck's latest Trademark registry -- they registered a new product offering of 'alcoholic beverages / alcohol' -- interesting, 'eh?

"Hey everyone! Let's head on over to Starbucks and get friggin' smashed!"
